I suggest adjusting the base card drop chance down to something like 0.5-1%. With drops in the higher rarities and shines being even less common. This would help to make cards feel rare and interesting, even before they have any additional utility added.
Also, I would like to have an item that functions as a sack with unlimited storage for cards. Between these two changes, we'd have far less time dedicated to burning cards in lava while we grind out levels killing magma cubes.
