Pending Map Vote Cooldown

Just so I am sure, are you suggesting that specific maps receive cooldowns after they are played?

This would encourage players to give feedback on maps, and take certain ones out of the map pool that are unpopular, while giving us a chance to add newer maps to the server.
 
I am firmly in agreement with @Agent Knockout 's point. Personally, I don't love the idea of the cooldown in the "health of the server" sense - it would very much affect the ability to repop the server if we limited how often the more popular maps were being played. With that being said, I do totally understand it can be frustrating on the regular player side playing the same maps over and over again.

I really do think the best solution to this would be to replace many of the "bleh" maps (northern sea and albatross are prime examples) with some certified classics (casino and whitehouse are instantly ones that come to mind). It's easier said than done, but I truly feel like this is the solution that would remedy this issue while also keeping the server health in mind.

Even with my unhealthy amount of hours since the launch of Giant's Lair, there's some maps that I've only ever played once or twice (usually because we voted Random, and then the map gets RTV'd anyway).

As much as I love to play the same maps, I don't deny I'd like to play some ones I haven't played yet. +1 to this
