Carbon copy, central server just like it is. Just slap a #2 on it.
The energy and nostalgia is here for the time, and there's a lot of staff as well. Regardless, I think there's genuine potential for this to actually last for a while.
That being said, I think if any ideas of a second server are in discussion, it should be only when the server is full. Once it's full, you turn on the second one, have staff and others who can't join to seed it and let players take care of the rest. There are a lot of staff members and staffer are naturally seeders and repopers.
I've seen a lot of new players and people who are not sgm related in the slightest, which is awesome because it means people are finding the server, joining, and sticking around. Do this now and not in a month or 6. Energy is going to be at an all time high right now, so capitalize on it !!
Pros: more players, potential for a second server if it extends from just an extension of the first one if new players continue to stick around
Cons: You lose an extra 20 dollars if it isn't helpful
