I can confirm that changes will happen to the grapple, including potentially replacing it with a different one.
As this appears to be a duplicate (except the other one includes an icon for the grapple), I'll be closing this suggestion.

Change the detective grapple to maaaaybe this one.... ooooorrrr make an upgrade that stops the current grapple from breaking after "2000 rope length" (or whatever its called)
