Pending Lottery Winner Restriction

I feel that the lottery inherently favors those who have a lot of points. I believe there should at the very least be a function where if someone has won the lottery, they can’t participate in the next one, and afterwards they can participate again. A small mercy for those who lack points and want to gamble!

This is one of the better suggestions I've seen about the lottery.

A few months ago I had a strangle hold on it for a good 1-2 weeks and then lost everything I had TWICE to other staff. Its not like you're asking to ban anyone from it, put a bet limit, etc.
If there was a way to implement it easily I wouldn't be against it, feel like this would encourage more people placing lotto bets as well.

I have consistently almost everyday I play (if I remember to) gamble all my points and have never won lmao

So def a +1 from me cause I always be broke af :ROFLMAO:

at least you have a decent shot at winning that 5k x d
Edit: also worth mentioning, people might be more inclined to put more into a lottery if they know they aren't going to get sniped by a 200k+ bet.

Yeah I'm fine with this. I think the lottery system should be designed to maximize enjoyment in its participation; this is a Garry's Mod server with valueless points, not a real-life lottery with money on the line. Frankly I think anyone who wants to be able to win the lottery each time is being selfish. How many lottery wins does one man need? Lol
 
Is there a way to add a mechanic (say a flat 10%) of the house winning. If the house wins, the amount is carried over to the next day. That way there’s more inherent risk of someone full porting into the lottery and can actually lead to some pretty fun big competitive pots

I like this but only if the house adds 10% to the pot each time as well
