The 2025 NFL Regular Season is slowly winding to a close. Over these next few weeks, we'll see teams get eliminated and teams clinch playoffs; winners and losers galore! I wanted to introduce y'all to a way to make some sweet points in February, when one of the teams claims up that beautiful Lombardi trophy.
What am I betting on?
You are betting to pick the winner of the Superbowl. No over/under or moneyline chicanery here, just straight up which team will lift that Lombardi.
How much can I bet? How much can I win?
Entry fee will be 2,500 points, with a cap of 10 entries a person. You can bet on up to 4 different teams or all 5 entries can go towards one to multiply your prize. I (the house!) will be funding the initial prize pool with 15,000 points, with the rest of the funds being invested by y'all and redistributed to the winners. Payout will be the number of points in the prize pool divided by the number of entries for the winning team, each entry getting an equal split of the prize.
Example: Bengals win the Superbowl, and they had 8 entries gambled on them. We had 60 entries + the house fund, so the payout for each individual entry would be 20,000 points.
BETS WILL OPEN: January 4th PST (or potentially sooner, if the complete playoff picture is decided earlier)
BETS WILL CLOSE: January 10th, 1:00 PM PST (Half hour before the first wildcard game).
POINTS WILL BE PAID OUT AFTER: February 8th, whenever the Superbowl concludes. I might be pretty hammered that evening so we should plan on the next day.
All bets will be transparent on here, with a full list of how many entries are out for each team and who is paid up/who is not. After a bet is placed, I will contact you for payment in a timely fashion; I'm not going to sweat a few days. Please have the points ready if you do plan to sign up, I am posting this quite early to give our community time to budget their funny money accordingly.
