the only issue with those is that they are very sided towards people who have farms. They are good ideas but idk how we would go about making them fair like fishing is

I think we definitely need more competitions than just fishing, the question is what kind of competitions would they be. First thing that comes to mind would be hunting / killing mobs, but those will always go to whoever has a mob spawner or farm

I have to -1 as well. I feel like if you are just starting to make an attempt to change and right now it's very hard to tell if that attempt is genuine or not, both in terms of rdm and vulgarity
