With the fix from @uintancæstir and some worksho updates, can you confirm if this issue is still present following the rollout of the April Update Package? I'll close this if this is no longer an issue or there is no response within the next week.

Added internally to backlog. May be rolled out for public play testing in March update package.

A watchdog has been developed and will be moved to staging. If the server stops responding after 10 seconds, it will be killed and started again. If there are no issues observed then it will be rolled out to production in the next week.

How about the default map becomes the last map that was active? Server restarts, updates, or crashes will auto load the map that was active before shutdown/restart/crash.

I'm going to go ahead and close this. Map downloads are handled by Steam CDN and it seems to be fast again. If this occurs in the future, theres nothing we can do as we don't host the map files.

I updated the M4A4 texture earlier today as to not conflict with the M16 texture. After restarting your GMod to apply that fix, are the hands still missing?
