Pending add pings in chat when someone types your name

i used to play on a server years back so kinda stealin that idea oops lol but basically if your name gets typed in the chat a ping plays so you can put your attention to the chat and dont miss when someone types your name

I don't know that I'd like a chat ping, but highlighting the message in some way would be darn neat, like a visual ping - so it stands out in the chat, but doesn't interfere with audio. Otherwise I could see some people teasing others by pinging them. Being audio-sensitive, I'd personally dislike that <3
But overall +1 to the idea of making it stand out more when your name is mentioned.

oh yeaa, maybe a timer or something maybe one ping every 10 seconds so if multiple people say their name it doesnt do that, idk lol or if possible maybe settings to turn off the pings as a whole (for content creators too) or the highlighting thing too, maybe both!
 
I want to be able to ping objects in game personally, like barrels and stuff

The workshop link i attached is optional and each player configures the names they want to show up. Also it ignores radio binds. Audio is off by default as well.

Edit: each player can also include their own custom notification sound :3

+0, I'm not a guy who reads chat at all so this will definitely help me and others, but it just as easily could be used to spam a new player who might not understand how the plugin works.
