Discord linked, but not showing

Was attempting to join the discord, went through the process of linking it, however it still shows as unlinked. Subsequent attempts to link give an error message that I already have a discord linked, and to unlink that one first, which... I cannot do, because it shows there is no discord linked.

Hi Kavu,

While looking into this, I noticed that your forum ID was correlated to your Discord ID however there was no info being pulled from our Discord server since it looks like it never automatically had you join our Discord. @Zikeji has updated the Discord linking system and it should now display a banner at the top stating that you have linked your forum account to your Discord but that you haven't joined our Discord server. Can you confirm this displays for you and once you join our Discord server that the error goes away and you can view all your info?

EDIT: It appears that you joined the Discord server 13 days after posting this bug report (12/18/2025), and your roles have been synced. Looks like this was a case of you not having joined the Discord server hence it couldn't load your account info from our Discord server if you never joined. We've fixed it to display basic info, allow unlinking, and added a warning banner to alert people who may encounter this issue in the future. @Zikeji has updated the Discord system to display the banner mentioned in the previous post to anyone who has the issue in the future where we have a record of the accounts being linked but the Discord account not actually having joined our server. This also helps in the case that people leave our Discord server after linking their account.

The bug being reported is that there is no actual link to our Discord from the Discord page. Kavu explained this to us in-game after he was able to flag our attention for a discord invite link.

Posting so other people see.

This is separate from the original bug report post. The issue identified and fixed was if we have record of a user linking their forum account to their Discord but either don't automatically join the guild/server or if they leave in the future, the page was say "not linked" because we can't load user info from our guild/server.

Adding a link for the Discord server to the Discord Link page has been added to Trello.
