Why should you be considered for a moderator position?1. Do you meet all the minimum requirements listed in the Requirements Thread?
Other than playtime, obviously, but yes.
2. Why do you want to join the Giants Lair staff team?
I've always enjoyed TTT, especially moderating it. It was always a fun time, and I like to ensure that all players are able to enjoy the game as well.
3. What skills or experiences do you bring to the team?
Prior SGM moderator. I'll need a bit of time to get use to the menus again, but I was very efficient back then, and am sure I can get back to that.
4. How active are you across our platforms (GMod, Discord, Forums)?
Currently? Not much, other than I occasionally check in on the Discord. Just like with SGM, I was much more active in the game vs. Discord, and I'd expect it to be pretty similar here as well.
5. How much time can you realistically dedicate to staffing per week?
Pending work, and whether I get bored, 10-20ish hours. This will also depend on how populated the server is. I'm sure I'm in a drastically different timezone than most other players, so there could be times where I'm able to be on, but the server is lacking players.
6. How well do you handle pressure, criticism, or heated situations?
I rarely get stressed, and am able to handle chaotic situations extremely well.
7. How would you describe your conflict resolution style?
Direct and to the point.
8. Are you familiar with the TTT server rules and general community standards?
I'm still familiar with SGM's rules, so as long as it's similar to those here, I'll be extremely familiar.
9. What does your punishment history (if any) look like on our servers?
It's difficult to remember specifics since it's been quite a while, but I believe I've had a couple simple RDM bans, as well as your occasional karma ban. I can't recall much else at this point.
10. What is your reputation like within the community?
I believe I have a mostly positive reputation within the community. I'm sure there were some situations that could be looked at in a negative light, but overall, I would say it's positive. As for people that may vouch for me, I can say that I see plenty of familiar members, and I believe there may be a few out there that would.
