What is your goal in joining the staff team?Frankly I wanted to apply a while ago, but I wanted to spend some time interacting more with the community to make sure I was actually interested in this and not just high on nostalgia. I've been thinking for a while that I'd like to be more involved in contributing to the community, and since I've been enjoying TTT more than I was expecting to, I decided to apply.
What skills or knowledge do you bring to the table?I do not remember a lot of the ULX menu, but I'm confident I'll pick it back up quickly. Otherwise, I have experience both staffing gmod and running a community. I'll be the first to admit that there was a lot that I did poorly during my admin tenure in SGM and my time as director at Crescent. The best skill I have to bring to the table is my ability to look objectively at myself and improve.
How committed can you be — short-term and long-term?I currently have a lot of free time, and I generally make it a priority to have time for the things that are important to me. My commitment shouldn't be an issue.
Can you handle serious situations maturely and calmly?This is something I'd consider to be one of my strong suits.
How are your social skills? Can you handle conflict respectfully?Yes. I'd like to think that those of you who know me can attest to this.
How well do you handle pressure or discouraging moments?I feel as though I have a high tolerance for high stress situations, but I'm not immune to pressure. I do my best and reflect on what I can do differently when that isn't enough.
Are you familiar with all relevant game/community rules?I believe so. The rules are very similar to the two previous TTT communities I've staffed, and I've done my required reading to cover the differences.
How much time can you realistically dedicate to staffing?I'm not sure about specific amounts of time, but more than enough from what I've gathered.
What does your punishment history look like? If you have one, how have you changed?I've not been punished on a gmod server in 7 or 8 years, outside of slays here and there.
How is your reputation within the community? Are there reputable members who would recommend you?I like to think that I have a good reputation within the community. Jabba has an idea of what I'm like in a community manager capacity from the times we communicated for GSU stuff. Siddo was an admin under me at Crescent so he knows what my leadership style is like. Others have been staff alongside me in the past (Husky, Zyp, 8Bit). There are also a handful of non-staff members in the community that know me pretty well or have been my admin/lead previously (Veri, Helix).
Having never been a part of AHG and having left SGM with Crescent, A lot of you likely don't know me or don't know me very well. You might have known me previously as Iuna in SGM or pigeon in Crescent, or you may have seen me around in discord either under the name pigeon or Noelle. I've been part of the SGM pipeline for about 9 years now. I'm certainly looking forward to getting to know the rest of you though. Feel free to ask me whatever questions you have, I'll do my best to answer.
