Title, the things make no sense to be in the game in their current state. See video.

Steve even did a good job showing the one instance it can kill you is if you are standing directly on top of it.

I was gonna make more examples from various distances but i feel like the point is made here pretty easily and people kept killing me

 
Frags before killed at too far a distance, now they don't kill anyone at all. I wouldn't revert the change entirely, but a hotfix buff is certainly in order.
 
+1 to buff, it's insanely weak

+1 to removal, it's wild that innos have access to it
 
+1 this makes them irrelevant. I agree explosive radius was too large before, but at current damage levels they straight up are not lethal.
 
Instead of a hard damage nerf, was a reworking of the audio cue considered? I feel like if it played a distinct audio cue when the pin is pulled there’s a lot more counter play rather just playing audio when it bounces.

I'm pretty sure it does do an audio queue altho it might be only playing client side

I haven't played with the weakened grenades, but I think the problem with the old version was that the damage and/or blast radius was simply too high. I'm not sure an audio cue would be much help since most maps are not designed like a counter-strike map where you can tactically hold angles and hide behind walls or boxes.

I say lower the damage and keep the radius, or lower the radius and keep the damage.
