I just wanted to apologize for last night. I said something that crossed a line and was not okay, and I get it, why it would have led to a timeout. That's on me, and I'm not looking to make excuses for it.
I really care about this community, and I am really happy being part of it. I have always felt welcomed here, and the last thing I want is to make any person uncomfortable or hurt because of something I said. I respect the people here and the space that has been built.
I took some time to reflect on it, and going forward I'll make sure to slow down, taking those extra few seconds before sending anything, to give some thought to how that might come across or affect someone else. I want to be the person to bring positive energy here, not take away from it.
I also want to thank the mods for keeping things in order and allowing me the opportunity to learn from this. I'm truly sorry again, and it won't happen again.
