Hello fellow book nerds of the lair! It has been on my mind for some time that it would be super fun to do a monthly book club with our friends here at Giants Lair! My thoughts were that we pick a book that we can all read over the course of 4 weeks and then do a Discord call/party/catch up to discuss our thoughts and feelings on the novel! I know that not all genres are for everyone, but I also think that it would be a fun exercise in exploring new books we haven't yet read, or share a love for a novel you have finished before with fresh eyes and perspectives.

To allow us all enough time to vote for a genre, then book and obviously obtain said book (might I suggest utilising our local libraries!!! The more we do the more likely they are to continue to get funding as it shows the public require their services) I would like to get this started in the next 3 weeks, with us commencing reading of our first book by the
1st of November This should be ample time for us to get our first book picked and selected. Before I start a poll to decide the genre, I will wait until Sunday 12th of October to post it in the Discord channel so I can get an idea of numbers first.Couple of important points!
1. You can read in any format: audio, kindle/ebook, physical...whatever suits you!!
2. There is no obligation that you have to read every month. This is supposed to be fun, not assigned homework!!!! Just give it your best and be open to trying new things
