Hello!,
As some will remember and others wont, I made two separate names for myself amongst the SGM community back in the day. The first as a cheater, The second as a respected staff member and friend of the community. I received two bans for cheating, I went out of my way to be a little prick at the time about it. I had issues with authority in both real life, and the game setting, but this community, and many of the people who are here today gave me one final chance to grow up a little bit, and enjoy the golden years of what I hold as the best gaming community I've ever been a part of. With that final chance over the course of years, I gained trust, and worked myself into being respected enough to join the staff team and finally give back to a community that I not only took from, but had received so much from.
The people here were some of my greatest friends, and I can almost say that without a doubt they slightly shaped my future by giving me that third chance. It humbled me, and showed me the course of actions taken can have consequences, and that its up to you to either heed those and learn, or be doomed to make the same mistakes time and time again.
Flash forward to now, that 15 year old angsty teen is a Father, (soonish to being a husband), and right back to being able to say he is a part of the best community out there.
I hope to see you all in the server from time to time, life is much busier for us now, but I hope we all find a moment to relax and enjoy the nostalgia that comes with seeing all the names here once again.
