You have all been invited to a special group in order to hack your way into a mysterious organization you know little about for the ''greater good''...that is, assuming you don't get caught.
This is a text based version of Town of Salem, which will be played on our Discord within the pre-existing murder-party text channel. A few agents of the government have infiltrated your hacker group, and you must figure out who is who using your social deduction skills, as well as the game's own mechanics.
This version of the Murder Party will feature two major differences compared to all previous Murder Parties and Discord Mafias: This game is heavily based on a game I once helped beta test: Untrusted. This means this Murder Party will inherit that game's core mechanics, as well as theme. That said, I have attempted to rebalance this game better than the original product (especially because Untrusted was already heavily ''Town'' sided) as best as possible, as well as reduce the RNG involved.
Additionally, there will be a set list of possible roles to play. Meaning there will not be random fake claims, though you do have tools to fake claims.
In order to facilitate this, you will have access to two documents: One for basic mechanics, and one for all the roles that can possibly exist in this game and you will be free to reference them at any time, including during the game. I also encourage you to look at the base game itself for additional idea of what's going on, though you may encounter differences due to the heavy rebalancing I have engaged in.

Due to the additional resources involved, the Murder Party will start no sooner than the 18th of April. However, you will be able to decide the date this game starts, once enough players have joined for the game. When that happens, I will make a separate post for the available days this game can start on, as well as the hour the game can begin and you will be able to vote.
Until then, you should sign-up by posting on this thread, as well as adding me on Discord (@agentknockout) so you can be messaged your role when the game begins.
