I checked for linking discord and it said it wasn't up yet, so there's that. Obviously can't play til the server comes on, but other than that, I'm in the clear.
2. Why do you want to join the Giants Lair staff team?
I'd like to contribute to keeping the game fun and fair for anyone who's playing. It's important to building a community.
3. What skills or experiences do you bring to the team?
Was past staff when SGM was around, as a moderator.
4. How active are you across our platforms (GMod, Discord, Forums)?
I haven't played any Gmod since AHG went under, and even then I only really played at its beginning. I'm active on Discord generally, although I haven't been active on the Giant's Lair server, probably will be now that TTT is coming. As far as forums, I've made an introduction post and this one.
5. How much time can you realistically dedicate to staffing per week?
A reasonable amount, several hours on the weekends and maybe an hour here and there on weekdays, since I work. Enough to be well above the Min. requirement.
6. How well do you handle pressure, criticism, or heated situations?
Very well, I had a few people on the old server tell me they thought I was pretty chill as far as mods went.
7. How would you describe your conflict resolution style?
Very straightforward. All the tools to review the match are there, what happened is what happened, it's just the rules.
8. Are you familiar with the TTT server rules and general community standards?
As long as there's no major change to how SGM ran things, then yes.
9. What does your punishment history (if any) look like on our servers?
I don't recall ever getting punished on AHG, on SGM I had a few RDMs and a ghosting ban. Although those were all before I became a mod, and none of it was malicious.
10. What is your reputation like within the community?
Very good, I'm sure anyone on the old team would vouch for me.
