Novel idea.
Since we keep beating dead horses... Let's make that a formal activity. The weekly dead horse beating, where we drag up some ancient drama, lie about it, make up whatever we want for the hell of it, and just clown on it.

Let's turn it into a festival.

You believed that you were ordained by God to become an Admin on our TTT server because of the following accolades.
- You had more playtime than *maybe* any other staff member, at a time when the server was never unstaffed.
- You previously owned a community.
- You have a Masters Degree in Business, or something?
- You consistently asked the general chat if they were up playing with their worm.

Other than that, you were on record lying about really minor things, like why you couldn't attend an entirely optional staff meeting. You made no effort to make yourself known to the community at large or become someone pushing change. Lastly, you initial response to someone else getting promoted who had the experience, effort, and will to contribute on every level you weren't, was to talk shit loudly and publicly. You said then, and you say now that she was only promoted because she's a woman.

You are a small man, and it is made plain by the simple reason that you never considered for a moment that there could have been any other reason for Anna being chosen instead of *you*.

There have been some takes shared around here that I consider to be revisionist in nature, and I've let those go. But not this one.

Respectfully, I do not understand how your actions and wrongdoings relate to the current issues with Jabba whatsoever considering you essentially rage quit the community after that promotion.

We may be voicing concerns with the fundamental ways of how the community is operated, but he said nothing incorrect pertaining to your situation.

Also, just because there are those of us that are upset with the way the things are/have been handled, doesn’t mean it can be your path to some sort of moral high ground. Someone vibe audit this guy out of here.

this is explicitly not aimed at anybody specific, genuinely, I am on here lurking but haven't gone super deep into the issues lately because I just can't be fucked, I'm building a massive kelp farm/cactus farm/XP farm in the MC server and that is massively more deserving of my adderall fueled SSRImaxxed dipshit brain than you party poopers.

honestly it just isn't that deep homies holy shit this is fucking wild just play the fuckin game or something it's a gmod server made of people that have known each other for nearly a decade suck each other off or go home, it's bound to have issues and drama, but it doesn't need to be taken so serious just turn off the monitor or sumn goddamn.

@Agennon and many others could have handled the situation better but holy shit guys grow the fuck up it's a garry's mod server, he's still at least trying harder than what was going on at the end of SGM, good shit comes to an end sometimes, especially when it's just on an old ass game that's being forgotten abo- Correction literally while typing this. I was going to grab a screenshot of what I assumed to be a solid down-slope of players, just naturally due to how it has felt Gmod has just kinda sloped off in popularity. Lo and behold;

So I guess that point is moot, but man maybe it's just because people are trying to hold onto something we had from the past, nostalgia is hard to give up. It's like starting an old car, you try and try, but at some point you just kinda have to accept that even though you've tried blowing gas straight into the intake at this point, your old engine isn't gonna start up. Chances are you flooded it and possibly fouled the shit out of the plugs, all you can do is just.. Wait for it to evaporate a bit, maybe replace the plugs, and try again. Dumping more fuel into it and trying mad max shit of blowing gas into the intake isn't going to magically fix it. Drive your other car for a day or two and come back to the original issue, the car isn't going anywhere, the problem isn't going anywhere, so no point of coming back every 10 minutes to try and start it again.

You have to do something different or nothing gets fixed at all, but take that day or two to figure something out instead of wasting time trying to start the car over and over and over expecting something to magically change on its own.

Fuck I don't know, focus on the MC server or something temporarily, work on an overhaul of the Gmod server and start exploring options related to actually getting the server populated, game player-count definitely isn't the issue here. Make a campaign to get shit done and change something. Give love to everything and make sure everyone involved has the resources they need, the MC server/server devs and the TTT server, it was super unfortunate to see Dime leave, and it was totally understood why they did, but damn losing a heavy hitter like with how much they did is rough.
Like damn maybe even do the cheap-ass thing and get some Oracle free tier servers, they're not like platinum level crazy but they're generous, just have somewhat bad support, but the free tiers are a godsend. Stop locking into just TTT, it took forever to even start the MC server and the amount of new people I've seen join it has been crazy, there are troves of new people randomly popping in and it's like "Holy shit we do exist outside the forums???"

anyway, yeah.

They haven't front paged s&box yet, effectively it has only been soft released, they want the front page hard release to happen once more real content has been made, because the main issue with making a strong game engine is it's also very easy to make slop
