Hi.
I like jondome/dinkledome/fundome. I like the diamond sword. I don't like walking over a body, stubbing my toe on a blade unseen, and spontaneously game-over'ing.
A change I saw in a past server I played on, was making the diamond sword visible through walls and other solid matter.
I believe it was visible only when you were within a certain range. Memory fails me, so it may have been global - I don't recall.
I think within a short range is best though, so consider that the core suggestion.
This greatly reduced the risk of stepping onlego diamond swords - not without it at least being a direct result of being inattentive.
It also meant you didn't randomly run into it when turning a corner or going down/up stairs.
It's not a priority tweak, but one I would like to see implemented, because it addresses some pain points I have with the funny rdm sword as an insta-kill prop.
It is a minor-but-significant nerf to the diamond sword as a weapon/trap due to making it very clear where it is currently.
But it also makes for fewer mysterious body piles and unpleasant surprises, which I think is neat.
