The mods work hard keeping the server in check. It takes a lot of work to slay someone who killed them on their T round, but some people want to get in the way of their fun. Some people want to use their power to stop mods from abusing their power, and the mods have to unite to stand strong.
The problem is that in these dark times nobody knows who to trust. Some of the higher ups infiltrated the moderation to take them down from the inside and make their oppression the norm. Can the mods rise up and keep their right to abuse? Or will they be crushed by an oppressive rule?
Welcome to the second GL Discord Mafia game. Cel won't be doing another until December so I'll run one to fill in the time. I know you all enjoyed the first one and I'm ready to help make this a regular thing.
Here's a few things I'll note about this game in contrast to the previous one:
The game will be 23 players, and anyone who joins after will be a backup in case an afk player needs to be replaced. The start date will be decided once signups fill.

Here's a few things I'll note about this game in contrast to the previous one:
-This game will be less chaotic than the previous one. A lot of people are playing this for the first time (Or the first time since they played Town of Salem 10 years ago) and aren't familiar with a lot of mechanics of newer Mafia style games, so I'll try to keep the mechanics simple. Any role that doesn't exist in ToS and wasn't in the previous game should be simple to understand, and I won't have neutrals with win conditions you've never heard of.
-While the roles will be relatively vanilla, expect a few surprises. I promise there won't be Town/Mafia roles with extra steps to their win condition or Neutrals with borderline impossible wincons.
-To give the overseas people more time to play, phases will be 24 hours instead of 12 hours. Also you will be allowed to change your vote before the deadline, and if the votes are tied one player will be voted at random. Novoting still will not be allowed.
-Mafia will be allowed to chat with their team at any point, and not just at night.
-Instead of Mafia having dedicated killing roles, the factional kill may be performed by any member of the mafia at the cost of not being able to use any night abilities they have.
-Not all players will have a night ability. For the sake of lowering the overall power of Town and giving Mafia more room for fake claims there will be Town with no special abilities. Giving everyone an ability is good in ToS when day phases are 5 minutes, but when you have a full 24 hours to strategize there's a lot more room for someone to make a move during the day, and night actions are less important.
