Why should you be considered for a moderator position?
Simply put, keeping the peace is my main objective. One of the things I would like done differently is to not let the community dogpile on someone even when they've been a complete idiot (see SkullFire). Even if someone does something stupid, it doesnt mean that we should stoop down to a lower level.

Other than that, I have huge familiarity with managing Xenforo and MyBB forums, as well as base understandings of html, css, and php. I dont plan on anything drastic, mainly just keeping things running.

I love helping new players (to the community and to the game in general). I like having a fun, chill time, and think I can help keep that environment going while I'm on the server. I am also very experienced in staffing TTT, and can bring an impartial and level headed attitude to most conflicts.

I feel like I am a good neutral voice to most conflicts and can be trusted to handle difficult situations in server. Because of this I'd also like to think that I am equipped to deescalate tense and volatile situations. One of the other things that I stress while staffing is helping newer players understand our ruleset, and would like to continue doing this and stressing it to newer staff. Every server has a unique set of rules and it is important to be patient and explain these differences while still being sure to enforce them. The role of mod would help me be quicker at dealing with warn thresholds, alt bans, being a better support for fresh/new staff, as well as being able to support the community in general. The real reason I want mod is to ban Brahma (for those of you in dark mode, damn you this message is supposed to be hidden)

I got reached out to and asked if I would be interested. I also feel like I can be of aid when people need help. Im usually very responsive to pings and am usually lurking in a few channels, even if Im not directly interacting.

Continue to be resource to the community and staff team. My focuses will be on training new staff members, as well as trying to get some long-standing things changed in regards to how staffing is handled. Notable items in this area are: demoting inactive staff to stop the promotion of going inactive rather than resigning, formalizing training of new staff, and a possible reshuffling of ranks and permissions (rough draft).

Beyond the staffing side of things, I dont think there is much I want to change for the TTT server other than promoting more frequent seasonal events. This goal is not a snipe at the current team. I very much understand that the frequency of changes is very much dependent on the frequency of getting updates to dinkleberg and those updates getting approved/pushed by him. I would love for us to have seasonal events where weapon skins/playermodels can be earned by things like activity or kills with a certain weapon during the event. Earnable items are one of my favorite things, because it shows an accomplishment that nobody else can get except during a specific period of time.​

I honestly supported you at first. You seemed pretty chill and I hadn't had any problems with you, but a staff member needs to be able to handle being in the wrong. Imagine if you made a bad call on an RDM report and got reported on the forums, or if you forgot to warn for a jihad and killed your T buddies? If that happens to a staff member we'd want someone who can admit they made the wrong decision and move on instead of going to the ends of the earth trying to justify their decision.

Getting killed by Husky is irrelevant at this point. If you ever wanna be staff here you need to show that you can handle being called out for a mistake.

Hey!

That feedback means a lot, especially coming from someone who’s clearly put thought into both the positives and the areas to grow. I agree completely about the line between banter and instigation, and I’m very open to coaching and self reflection there. I’ve learned a lot already just by being around experienced staff.

proper would most likely be an awesome moderator, I've noticed how half the shit that comes out of her mouth is complete and utter bullshit but that only makes me enjoy her presence more, i haven't really played enough on the server to know how unbiased she would be when it comes to moderating, but i have a strong feeling the server needs someone like her to have power! wait- now that i think about it... actually this sounds like a horrible idea, she would probably ban everyone within the first 5 minutes of getting any power at all! please for the love of god do not make her a mod... -1
 
You left the discord for a while and when you came back one of my first interactions with you was you protesting a ban and tagging me, me asking who you're taking about, and you calling my a piece of shit. While explained later it was a joke, in the moment it was shocking and upsetting.

Also, the section of your app I find most concerning is:

Giant's Lair has been very strong on the idea of no hour requirements for staff, staff members which may appear inactive usually are keeping up some communication with their Admin/Lead. Changing that culture is not something I feel needs to be pushed for right now.

I really could only see @rog the dog picking up this applicant if picked up. Overall I'll remain neutral.
