As it stands, its 5k per plot. I have played almost every weekend since launch and beyond buying and maintaining my small area of 4 chunks, I have only made 2500. I feel like its a bit insane to ask someone to grind another couple of weekends just to afford 1 plot of land in creative. The plots are extremely small. To have an enjoyable experience in creative id need to have 4+ plots, making my new entry to creative 20k.

You should be able to make way more in a weekend, you might have to use the /sell command more. Pretty much everyone who is playing has like 100k+ within the first couple of hours of playing. From the feedback I've gathered, people are saying the creative plots are very cheap. If you aren't selling things then it probably feels very expensive, though.

The system was designed for cross server economy, but if you don't want to engage with the survival economy and just want to play creative then I can send you some money in game. Lots of players would be willing to donate to you, I can give you like 500k to get started.

I think what we really need is a better guide for players interacting with the economy system. If people understand how to make money and use the systems we have, this wouldn't have come up at all. Most players are talking about needing more ways to spend money, not that things are expensive.

I mean, to be fair 95% of the resources I have I use to upgrade my base, or craft items I need to go out to get more resources. If I sold the resources I have it would leave me kind of stuck.

I might take you up on that offer. I wasn’t aware of how easy it is to make money. Perhaps I’m just not as knowledgeable when it comes to this stuff

Just in the process of mining for netherite, I usually sell $1400 worth of netherack per inventory load. After getting a silk touch and fortune pick, you can get stacks of 64 diamonds pretty dang fast, and each stack goes for 40k. Some of the fish I've caught during fishing contests sell for 1k each.

Spawners are also really common when you're exploring and most sell for between 5-10k.

@Chou made this cool website where you can see all the prices of items, too. http://chaoticly.jp/gl/

I've been selling my excess cobblestone and copper and it makes a lot of money. Some of the enchantments you can get are pretty busted and can make you a ton of money. For example, I have a pickaxe with the Digger enchantment and it lets me dig in a 3x3 tunnel. I can strip mine at -58 and get stacks of diamonds within minutes, which sell for a ton. I'd start by taking a look at the prices website and see if there's something that looks like a good money maker to you. You can sell just about every item in the game.

Also, some players are willing to pay a lot for certain items. I sold an armor trim piece to someone for 400k since they are so rare.
