I don’t think we should punish innocents for T shenanigans which is largely what this is about. Ts already need to warn for placing a c4 in an easily defusable place and are already punished for killing t buddies bc of it.

Okay, do we impose karma bans and mass rdm bans on players new to the server who try to defuse the c4? Do we ban players new to gmod for doing the same? By limiting where it can be placed and adding an ease of defusal do we just render the c4 useless? Will we need to consider punishing players...

It’s never made sense to me that a user who is micspamming, but otherwise not being disruptive, is banned from playing the game. We have the ability to gag them, why not just make that the punishment? Then we don’t lose a player for what is admittedly a very silly offense
