DISCORD RULES
Last updated: 9th of May, 2026
Rule 0. Don't be an ass - we're here to enjoy our time and connect with others. Don't ruin everyone's experience.

1. Be respectful to other users at all times. Do not harass, bully, insult, or otherwise offend other members. Don't use slurs.

2. Please use only English in the public channels. Our community is composed mainly of English speakers, and we expect our users to respect that.

3. Do not spam, flood, raid or otherwise disrupt the server's channels.

4. No porn, gore, disgusting/disturbing or NSFW content at all, even in private channels. We do not allow this content anywhere in our community.

5. Stay on topic: keep discussions to their appropriate channels.

6. Using bots, self-bots or auto-responders of any kind is not allowed. For exceptions, please contact the staff.

7. Do not use offensive or instigating names as your nickname.

8. Do not advertise other communities, game servers or similar things. Exceptions may be granted by Admins+.

9. Do not post anything illegal, i.e. pirated content/warez.

10. No doxxing: do not post or distribute private information about other users without their consent. This includes names, pictures, addresses, emails, phone numbers, etc.

11. Do not post images, gifs, emojis or other content that is overly bright/flashing ("seizure inducing"), or is unproportionally big in its dimensions.

12. When connected to a voice channel, please make sure your microphone is not disturbing others. It is recommended to use Push-to-Talk.

13. You may only have one account in our Discord. Using an alt to evade punishment is met harshly.

14. All of Discord's Terms of Service apply to our server.

CORNERSTONES OF OUR DISCORD MODERATION

ACCOUNTABILITY - COMMUNICATION - ENFORCEMENT

ACCOUNTABILITY
Because moderating a social space can be tricky, we might make mistakes. Our goal is always to keep it a fun and relaxed space. But sometimes we miss the mark. Our decisions should always hold up under scrutiny. As such, we want to foster an environment where you are welcome to question our decisions or suggest a different course of action.

We will listen.

In return, please speak plainly with us. We're open to changing or reversing a decision when we get it wrong. It's necessary that you communicate it effectively and with grace and empathy. We will treat you with respect and ask that you do the same to us. Neither vague nor aggressive comments are part of a healthy dialogue.

COMMUNICATION
We will always communicate clearly and earnestly with you when moderating. Staff will strive to de-escalate a situation before giving out official warnings. When rules are acted on and punishment is followed through, you will be told why you were warned/punished. We will clarify the punishment given and address any concerns you might have whilst also providing guidance on how further punishment can be avoided (where necessary). Communicating this all clearly is the predominant goal.

ENFORCEMENT
Sometimes we need to apply punishments. When doing so, we will always strive to be fair. Similar punishments for similar offenses. And the same standards apply whether you're newly arrived or a long time member, friend or stranger, staff or regular. Enforcement is always done with the core goal of keeping the space fun and relaxed. If things are fun and relaxed, staff will almost never get involved. With the notable exception of breaking non-negotiable rules for content, such as the use of slurs or other explicit and hateful content.
