Hmmmm.... Soup :)

What is everyone's favorite type of soup? I will go first. My favorite type of soup, if you count this a soup, is Chili. If you are one of those people who do not count Chili as soup, I will therefore have a backup answer for that in mind. My other favorite type of soup is baked potato soup. If you have ever been to the Chili's franchise, you should be familiar with the concept, but that is an ideal soup in my opinion.

I am eagerly anticipating everyone else's responses. Please do not bash or argue about others' soup choices, as everyone is entitled to their own opinion!!!
 
I really like Vietnamese beef stew (bò kho), and some of the places I grew up going to have added pho bò kho to their menu, which is pretty much just a mix of the two and it's a favorite of mine. It basically ends up being like a thinner version of bò kho with rice noodles, or a heartier bowl of pho with carrots, beef, ginger, and lemongrass.

Pozole or menudo are just so good and I could probably eat that for weeks straight honestly (and I have before) my family usually does a white pozole, so no chili in the pozole, although I really hope to do that some time soon.

im a soup girl. if i could eat soup only for the rest of my life i would cause there are SO MANY YUMMY OPTIONS

my two favs (are tied cause similar taste profile just slightly different make up). Both are poor italian meals but fuck they taste so good

Obviously they looks quite similar but god they taste so good and they are so hearty and filling and I could eat them forever. If I could bottle up my nonnas ability to create it exactly as she does I would.
