Perk that would give the d weapons (intervention, jackhammer, S&W) the ability to light targets up with a silly blue flame for a few seconds.

The flame does no damage, but enables other innocents to quickly join a firefight and help the detective shoot the right man
 
Paint or other visual indicators are also options, whatever it is needs to disappear after a few seconds regardless so it doesn’t warp passive KOS rulings. Wouldn’t be fun to get killed two minutes later after a detective nicked you in a fire fight with crossfire and gave you the blue mark of the beast.

Thoughts on a detective trap that can be placed onto T/D corpses with leftover credits and triggers when a Traitor tries to pick up the credits, leaving subtle indicators?

Something like this I feel would cause a lot of visual clutter / confusion if paired with a shotgun as it's pellets have a greater chance of hitting unintended targets.
