Reason for Report

Hello. I hope you're all well.

I want to preface by saying I don't hold ill will to what happened, nor will I continue this after the resolution of this forum report has been completed.

The reason for the report is the intentional use of exploits, whether the exploit was known or unknown prior to its use.

The Exploit:
I will not provide the exact exploit as to protect the server. This would break the game is found out. The upper administration and devs have been aware of the exploit.

Zypther made an active attempt to kill me while in a protected area while there was no war declared or currently active at the time.

This is where it started. Directly in a land that was protected.

They chased me as I ran right of the location as I sit there confused as I'm taking damage from seemingly nothing at first. I took note of what was happening and quickly attempted to escape, as I didn't have the abil

Zyp used this exploit multiple times, bringing me down to less than Half of my HP. I had to use a Golden Apple and flee.

I was able to make it into this section of the house. I was trusted, neither pigeon nor Zyp were trusted. I escaped into this house, still being damaged by what was being used to exploit through protection.

To make it also clear, I would have 100% lost my items and died had I not had access to the doors that he did not have access to since he wasn't trusted.

Just to be clear, I am not reporting for just the use of an exploit. Things happen where an exploit may happen and quickly get reported. You shouldn't be punished for discovering an exploit.
I am reporting for one of the two situations:
1. Zyp could have known that the exploit was present prior to doing it. Zyp chose to do the exploit anyways knowing it was against the rules.
2. Zyp could have been testing or discovered upon the exploit. Zyp with his experience in both MC and TTT staff should have an idea of what is intended and not intended, easily should have discerned this wasn't intended, but chose to continue anyways to kill me in Minecraft.

Either way, I believe what he did was not only low, but wrong and he should be punished for his use of an exploit to attempt to kill me without me able to fight back due to not having the items necessary for the exploit to occur. Zyp explicitly continued to attack me even after going into cover

@Frosty witnessed the entire thing in its entirety from start to finish and was undiscovered because he was invisible from a splash potion effect he took prior to coming over.

Hi, I don't have my minecraft recording going on 24-7, so I don't have this recorded.

I initially shot the TNT bow to look scary, much like shooting an enchanted bow at someone to look scary. I was fully expecting you to take no damage, if anything get pushed around a little by TNT. After the first hit, which was the only one to do damage above 0 according to the damage numbers that the server has, I shot it to joke around because it was absurd it worked, and all in all it was a joking time. You were being hunted for lava casting and blowing up areas around peoples bases, no serious gain was being sought after to kill you in minecraft, purely just a sense of justice/revenge/vengeance, for attacking people and faction members. I assumed that all actions were in a very joking manner or fun manner, and i attempted to continue that. The TNT bow was purely a weapon used for jokes and sillies that I thought you would have understood, and I hope that any mentions of war would have been thought as jokes and fun on the minecraft server, much like I assume you meant to be by the lava cast/tnt bombing you did around players.

There was no intention to set you back other than time by joking around with you, and there was no intention to gain progress, resources or anything nor means to other than if we took items from your grave, which was not intended or planned.

The issue was promptly reported to devs who i believe have worked on a fix or patch until a fix is made.

I'll tag the MC lead admin @Espurr and my TTT lead admin @rog the dog for any comments or conclusions they would like to draw.

I'm gonna let Espurr and/or Anna if she feels the need to make the conclusion on this one since we were all involved in some way. We talked about it, I genuinely don't have anything to add here publicly nor am I well versed enough in Minecraft to offer any valuable input.

I am claiming you were aware of this exploit and chose to use that exploit knowing it was an exploit (as listed above for either reason).

This proves you admit to shooting me multiple times. You did not stop doing so. It brought me down to half HP and would have killed me had I not ate a golden apple and not trusted in the lands - I had to go into places you didn't have access to as an un-trusted member.

I also learned that you visually will still show to take damage, even if it was zero as you saw. You also saw me running away, eat a golden apple, and then take cover and proceed to teleport away. Would a player not taking any damage or any threat occurring to them react that way?

There was no intention to set you back other than time by joking around with you, and there was no intention to gain progress, resources or anything nor means to other than if we took items from your grave, which was not intended or planned.

How was I supposed to know that? All I saw was proper and understandable retaliation that happened from something I caused. I was in a protected land knowing attacks were disabled among players. It's why I am reacting this way.

So I actually looked into this, and you had reported into a channel called mc-dev - which is a place to report such issues other than the forums to @Silent Rebel - who offered for you to test it and find out.

Instead of communicating that someone and testing it, you chose the first person you rightfully had a need to target (which 100% was within your right since I was the aggressor), and then used that exploit - which after seeing it worked continued to attack me despite me clearly running away and showing signs of damage (both visually, and from eating a golden apple - which can either be used for hunger or for hearts or both).

If you caught me in the wilderness or fought mutually, I wouldn't be here making this report. You attacked me using an exploit that allows you to go past the threshold protection provides you. That is why I am reporting you.

I reported it after our encounter. I did not know of it before our encounter. I assumed you would understand a joke, or make light of a situation considering we were talking in chat as well as have had a good amount of history between us as friends, or at least I thought we did. This was a complete fun situation, making light of a something that would not have caused any gain or loss, and was not intended to cause gain or loss.
