Inactive Claims & Inheritance Requests
This section exists to help keep the world active and prevent large abandoned claims from sitting unused forever. If a player has been inactive for 90 days or more, other players may create a thread here requesting for the claim to either:
- Expire and be removed
- Be inherited by a claim member/transferred for continued use
Before posting, please verify the player's inactivity using the /seen command in-game. This command will show when the player was last online.
These will sit open for 7 days. Once a week passes, staff will either respect the inheritance claim or set up an expiry time for a raid.
Important Notes
- Staff will review requests on a case-by-case basis.
- If the owner comments on the post and wishes to keep the land, the claim's ownership will stay in tact.
- In cases with multiple parties claiming inheritance, the lands hierarchy will be respected. If that results in a tie, first come first serve will be respected.
- Activity outside of Minecraft may still be considered in some situations.
- Claims with historical, community, or narrative significance may be preserved.
- Attempting to abuse this system or falsely report activity may result in denial of your request.
- Claims of banned players exceeding 3 months in length will be subject to this process by staff outside of the 90 day metric.
- Land Claim expiry not done automatically via the server or by this designated subforum must be approved by MC leadership
- All manual Land Claim expiry logs will be available below.
