Hello. First point of note is my name is what I hope everyone gets to be able to do. At least once a day I hope everyone has something truly good happen to them to be able to at least one smile.
Loved them all and when I lived on my own, it was very relaxing to be able to sit and play after a long shift or on a day off and get away from things. Was admin on TTT servers for years and -USED- to be good at it. You'll find me saying sorry for flipping up and breaking a rule "On accident!" >
all the time, minus once...Enter unexpected life events...
Happily on my own and notice issues. As a Registered Nurse I knew not to flip around minus the too long delay of going to the doctor that saved my life. Found out I had a Stage 3 Cancer that spread to lymph nodes. Get surgery for the main cancer, then lymph node removal (AKA I got a lot scars), and just so happens. I had a Grade 2 Cancer that would've been undiscovered and killed me if I didn't have the first one. Gotta smile knowing it all worked out that way... Removed during the second surgery. Then comes Chemotherapy and bald me. Amazing support from friends I had where I lived and my parents - My Amazing Mother visiting and living with me. Amazing Father working and visiting when he could drive 3 hours x 2 to go back. Obviously typing and you can see my profile picture. I rang a bell probably waaaay too loud!!!! Went back to work and was living on my own only to fall down night shift a few months after with non-stop seizures that had I not been working and had the job I had... I'd be not be typing...
It's a long story. But ended up getting a super rare <1% cancer patients get, let alone survive condition where my immune system thought I was the cancer and attacked it - me and caused damage and swelling to my brain. Now on permanent disability - not allowed to work, drive, heck even swim alone. Seizures are much better and I still have multiple focal (sensory feeling) episodes a day on a dose of 3 different pills that would kill anyone not my heigh/weight/months of dosage increases... Enter your twin brother (a doctor at the hospital I get treated at) having two kids now that like to visit. Annnnd I gotta be careful. But. Finally getting back to games and stuff as of now. My laptop works! Found applications and settings to change my screen not to be hard on my eyes. Sorry - Sometimes I will mumble in my mic and space out. My episodes aren't too long and if I'm typing I shouldn't type like I'm a crazy person on narcotics in usually <1 minute!
That all said. I'm here and I'm always smiling everyday. Gotta look at the positive in life and make the best of everything! So live life with a smile and always have a great day!
- Side note on that point.,
