mc_haven 2 (Emberhaven) & mc_blimp (Blimp)

hihi

i had these posted online publicly for a while now but i dont believe i told anyone except for a small group of people

here's two little mc ttt maps that i made/helped (never ported to gmod) on from a few years back :3

Blimp (2021)

interestingly someone offered to port this over to gmod last year but nothing was ever done with that :b

EmberHaven (2023)

slightly funny backstory, there's this minecraft ttt map called "haven" that 99% of people hated, yet i was the 1% that did like it.
i originally just wanted to port the map over but that turned it into trying to add a few qol features onto the map (for intended ttt gameplay), and making it look a little more prettier
included also is a risky shortcut to the other side of the volcano cuz y not
i liked how it turned out and there's definitely some things i'd change about it today, but overall i think it turned out nice

I personally loved both of these maps back on SGM, it's cool to see the creator join us after all these years!

My only concerns are that blimp is very susceptible to discombob rdm, and haven feels too big depending on the player count. Perhaps if blimp was restricted to low population and haven to high population that could work out well.

also the minecraft outro is such a throwback

neither were ported to gmod, u mightve been referring to mc_airship, which actually was one of the inspirations for blimp

haven's huge but in the map, i hollowed out the volcano and added some parkour to halve the trip to the opposite side of the map, both in theory would be fine as ttt maps (i think) but i dont intend on working on em cuz they're old works :b
