Steam Workshop::Nick Fury model (Improved Hitboxes)
Regarding my last posts about Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and Mace Windu, I’d like to suggest yet another iconic figure who would make an excellent addition to the playermodel roster: Nick Fury. Portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson—just like Mace Windu—Nick Fury is one of the most recognizable characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the man who originally brought the Avengers together, Fury represents authority, intelligence, and sheer cool factor. His trademark eyepatch and trench coat make him instantly recognizable, and his addition would give players a chance to embody one of Marvel’s most iconic leaders in-game.
What makes Fury such a natural choice is that he strikes the perfect balance between pop culture recognition and fitting seamlessly into the variety we’ve already been building up. Much like Mace Windu fits in well with the existing Star Wars models, Nick Fury would be right at home alongside any Marvel-themed playermodels that are—or could be—added to the pointshop. He represents another angle of diversity and recognizability, appealing both to die-hard Marvel fans and casual players who simply know him as “the guy who brings the superheroes together.” Adding him would not only give players another stylish and memorable option but also continue the trend of expanding the playermodel section with figures who are larger-than-life icons in their respective universes.
