Lead Admin on Giant's Lair
Why should you be considered for a moderator position?
I want to make this absolutely clear from the very beginning: I am applying only for the position of Lead Admin for the upcoming CS2 server. I am not interested in any other role, responsibility, side duty, or “we’ll see where you fit” situation. It is Lead Admin or nothing. I know what I want, and I am here for that position specifically.

Now that we have established that, let’s talk about why I am the right choice.

As a former Lead Admin for Giant’s Lair’s TTT server, I have already demonstrated my ability to manage a community, handle chaos, and maintain order in an environment where logic sometimes disappears. That experience was not just about enforcing rules. It was about reading people, diffusing situations before they escalated, and knowing exactly when to step in and when to let things play out for the good of the server.

While I may not have had a direct hand in creating the upcoming CS2 server, I would argue that this actually strengthens my position. I am coming in with a fresh, unbiased perspective, combined with proven leadership experience within the same community. I understand the culture, the expectations, and the player base, but I am not locked into any one way of doing things. That balance is rare, and it matters.

More importantly, I believe I am the most qualified candidate because of my personality. Tools, commands, and systems can be learned or refreshed quickly, but the ability to lead, to command respect without demanding it, and to create an environment people actually want to be part of comes from who you are. I bring confidence, decisiveness, adaptability, and just the right amount of controlled chaos to keep things running smoothly while still making the server enjoyable.

I do not just want the server to function. I want it to thrive. I want players to log in because they know it is well run, fair, and genuinely fun. I also want the admin team to operate like a unit, not a collection of disconnected moderators.

So again, to reiterate: I am applying for Lead Admin of the CS2 server, exclusively. I have the experience, the mindset, and the personality to take on that role and elevate it.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

-1, he teleported to me in minecraft and said "I've got a carrot for you" and then he ... he.... I dare not even say it, but suffice it to say that he left wordlessly as soon as he was done with his business... Don't trust the farming conglomerate.

As the newly promoted CS2 Owner - I will be watching this application very closely.

I look forward to seeing what others have to say and hope to potentially work with you again.

Good to see you Noct!

I would like to ask a few questions before giving a vote.

What’s changed recently that makes now the right time for you to step back into staffing? Why are you choosing to apply directly for Lead rather than re-engaging as an Admin first so adamantly? What would happen if you weren't selected for Lead?

How would you support and guide admins who have been actively contributing during your absence?

How do you plan to engage with development or support those who are actively working on it?

Can you share examples of contributions (technical, community-driven, etc) you plan to bring to the team other than "I can do it"?

The date

Because I started this community as lead admin

How would you support and guide admins who have been actively contributing during your absence?
I already do, everyone is always welcome to DM me with their issues and even when advisors couldn't see adminchat I did my best to support a mod with a question on TTT

How do you plan to engage with development or support those who are actively working on it?
By encouraging them and telling them how good they are doing. Like any good manager, I don't know what they are doing but like when they hit KPIs

Can you share examples of contributions (technical, community-driven, etc) you plan to bring to the team other than "I can do it"?
Unfortunately contributions I plan to bring are leadership+ information, but you know that means they are big

Thank you for your +1

Wait, this is an april fools joke all along? So what was that CS2 server I've been playing on... recently..?
