In Progress Polls and Proposals #1: Blue Map Player Visibility

Hi Giants Lair! Welcome to a new thing we are trying out for some spice of life on Minecraft. Weekly, we'll be voting to determine some changes on the Minecraft server that will shake up gameplay. Future votes will include concepts such as restricting tping in the nether, economic "balancing", rules on war, and more.

This week's pollroposal: Should we add player visibility to the BlueMap?

"Yeah, show me them players baby" is a vote in favor of adding players to the world map.

• Locations update every 2 minutes
• Players are visible during the day, and on the surface
• Players are hidden if sneaking, invisible, underground, or at night

"No thanks, keep things the way the are" is a vote in favor of maintaining the status quo.

This change will be passed if it achieves a 60% majority when the poll closes next week, implementation may be staggered. This change, and future changes, may be revisited down the line. Feel free to discuss this below.

I'm 100% in favor of showing players on the mini map. It would be great to help encourage more pvp on the server.
