This week's (ttt) pollroposal: Should we readd the grappling hook?

"Yeah, let the boys zip and fly!" is a vote in favor of readding the grappling hook

• Slot 7 mobility item
• Used for zipping around, manhunting dna targets, and countering traitor equipment
• Purchases aren't capped
• Rulings would be in place about exploiting in t rooms/other map specific chicanery
• If you select this option, please comment if you'd like to see it as a D only item or T/D item.

"No thanks, that item was annoying" is a vote in favor of keeping the grappling hook off the server.

• Other cross-role mobility items may be explored in the future to spice up gameplay that might take more of an Isaac Newton level of intelligence to use effectively.

This change will be passed if it achieves a 60% majority when the poll closes next week, implementation may be staggered.

This change, and future changes, may be revisited down the line.

I’d be down for re-adding it if it had limited usage, unlimited usage was just a delay fest, especially on maps like life the roof where people would fly around out of the map.

I'm on the fence for this to be honest, leaning towards no as it stands right now. When it was removed, it was blatantly too annoying to fight against and caused round delays.

I like what @Torbjörn suggested and I'd be on board with adding it if it were nerfed a bit in terms of how often you're able to use it.

I am all for listening to community input for these decisions (huge step in the right direction), but I do think this one needs a bit of tinkering before it can be added right away again if it's passed.

I think it's as simple as giving it some sort of limiter or adding a weapon that can target them like the homing pigeon (with blast radius reduction so It can only kill one person)
