This week's pollroposal: Should we accept the deal to extend gravestone timers at the cost of EXP?
"Deal! Extend the timer, I don't mind the cost." is a vote in favor of accepting the corrupted magic for our graves.
  • Gravestones will last significantly longer before decaying, giving players much more time to retrieve their items after death
  • 50% of the EXP stored in the grave will be consumed by the merchant's corruption
  • Narrative event: "The hooded merchant grins, his wares pulsing with a strange, dark energy. 'A wise choice,' he rasps. As the corruption seeps into the graveyard dirt, extending the tether of the fallen, the merchant unpacks his bags. He settles in for a longer stay, slashing the prices of his twisted wares for his new favorite customers."
"No deal, keep things the way they are." is a vote in favor of maintaining the status quo, rejecting the merchant's offer and keeping normal grave mechanics.
  • Gravestone timers and EXP retention remain exactly the way they are currently
  • Narrative event: "The merchant scoffs, hastily packing up his corruption-infused wares. 'Fools. You cling to fleeting light,' he mutters. With a swirl of his tattered cloak, he vanishes into the shadows, retreating to a remote, hidden corner of the world to formulate his next grand scheme."

This change will be passed if it achieves a 60% majority when the poll closes next week, implementation may be staggered. This change, and future changes, may be revisited down the line.
