Rejected portable tester

I have always disliked a portable tester. If we are going to go as far as denying the suggestion lemoncakes made, then this should be the same thing. Instead of showing up in tab menu, it would show in chat.

I hate not being able to quote locked threads. @pigeon had one of the most valid points against the "pro tester make traitors actually work more as a team less braindead deathmatch mafia" with "I can test alone or with one other person and the entire server will know I'm proven, then nobody needs to group up at the tester."

This item, which I'm assuming its your OG portable tester that only has 2-3 uses with a mild cooldown, literally gives any schmucko detective to create scenarios like that one above without any of the fun counterplay or kissing that happens on your local map's t tester.

I think there's benefits to gameplay marking me innocent for my good boy deeds to society, and that's why you will see me post a suggestion that will lead to my turn at adversarial crucifixion sometime soon
 
What about a 2-3 credit tester that requires the player to stand still?

Would help speed up gameplay, allow players who dont want to be tested to avoid it, and especially help deal with AFK Ts. Plus, just in general, gives the detective more general utility, but requires them to be doing well.
 
Honestly big -1, While I can understand that testers can speed up gameplay, we already have rounds capped at 6 minutes, I dont think we need to increase the speed of it more
