I know the auction house has been suggested but I think that's boring compared to the shop economy we have now

My suggestion is have the server reserve an area for a marketplace with stalls, allow the stalls to be rented out like a flea market. The stalls could just be a set area that's blank and people could build and decorate their own storefronts. If you put the stalls together you could also have the option of renting stalls that are next to each other to have a larger shop. This could also make the server feel more alive as the common shop area would be an easy place to see other players going about their business

The lands plugin can be used for this, I was snooping around and the renting stuff looks easy to navigate.

I’d really think a combination of both player shops and a market place works tbh; lots of player shops will be set up to have tons of bulk goods/lots of their niche of product. A marketplace can be used to push the best of the best, the cream of their crop; think highly sought, wares of destruction, and specialized dungeon diving gear.

I was thinking we should make a thread to advertise everyones markets so its an easy place for people to advertise what they are selling for people to find the things the are in search of. That said, I also dont mind the idea of a public flea market area as well to put some of our items since that could also have the same benefit if we are allowed to put signs with our chests with the location of our full stores

I like the idea of a public trading space, especially with the opportunity to design and shape your own storefront. That kind of trading hub will in my view also lead to a stronger trade economy in the first place.

i think this is a fantastic suggerstion for the role playing aspect of making your own lil store front and deciding on what you sell n shit alone
