Prior suggestion was coming at it at the wrong angle, my bad lol.
I think some sort of small overhaul to the system that allows skipping night would be somewhat nice.
Currently, it's easy to get stuck in the cycle of basically laying down and waiting 5 minutes for someone to also go to sleep, since it seems to count players that are not actually 'playing' per se in the number required to sleep (Afk/spec/vanish/off adventuring far from a bed) so sometimes it's hard to skip the night time.
Either some sort of way to just lower the needed amount, or if it's at least half the required number, it will start a timer of like 30 seconds on screen/in chat that updates every 5 seconds (so players are aware) and once it reaches 0 it skips.
Or, have it skip players and not include them in the count if they're physically not able to, such as the list from earlier excluding the adventuring one, so it would be afk/spec/vanish so in that case someone is gone, or a mod/admin is doing something and can't stop in the middle of it to go sleep, so it'd be nice for them to just not be considered in the number at all for players required to skip the night.
Plus, it does somewhat give it away that you're being watched if the number required doesn't seem to be consistent with what you see in tab, which kinda defeats the whole point of a command like vanish
