Rejected remove lifetheroof communitypool and every other map that only gets voted for

i only ask cause you just put h, and like the original post could contain more info/thought so people might be more inclined to think about it or even supprt.

I don't disagree that they are overplayed maps, they are also staples and people love them. Just need t find a way to balance it cause straight removing them wont help, but finding a way to get some of the other maps some love would be good.
 
I have many ideas that I haven't shared because there are still more important things to be working on (like EU server launch, hit-reg, small bugs, etc.) One of the ideas I've had is to require maps that are voted for much more to require a larger amount of votes where each player's weight will be smaller. I.E. community pool may get 9 votes but be weighted to 6 votes while a map that isn't played as often may get a full 1x multipler (9 votes is 9 votes). This comes with a lot of work in dealing with store rank vote counts and I have other ideas. I'm sure other players/staff/devs have their own ideas so I'd like to have a discussion on this where people toss their own ideas out. I don't believe simply removing the maps is a solution to this.
 
We are always working on and may find a system for more map variety, but we aren't removing maps because they are popular
