Pending Running Crouch Spam Reversion (Before The May 29, 2018 Update)

I'm curious- have you tried this out with the hitbox showing? I remember xpro demonstrated this one time but I don't know how he did it. I'd be really interested if this is purely visual or if it really fixes the problem.

Yeah, and from what I saw, the hitboxes didn't seem to be negatively affected by the change, and they matched what the playermodel was doing.
I may attach a video in this post later.

I wonder if it fixes the hitbox when you jump crouch.
 
I'm not sure if I'm missing something but what would be the point in reverting this change made in 2018? The change fully represents how a player is crouching as mentioned in the change log to represent what 1st person POV is. As stated, it also doesn't change the hitbox so I'm confused as to why we would want this.

It's better to have the playermodel not crouch until the player is actually fully crouched in the game, otherwise it leads to running crouch spam.
Also progressive crouching does sync up with the hitboxes.
