I don't think a Discord staff team is really necessary, TTT and MC team just need to lock in and browse a little more as I feel like it might convolute things, but at the same time it's not quite at the forefront like hopping in-game and moderating is. I certainly don't lead by example when it comes to keeping a constant eye on general and other text channels unless pinged.

I think your voice being involved in nearly any discussion brings a benefit, and I’d be glad to see you back in any capacity you are willing and able to fulfill.

True, you saw through my clever ruse - I am John Deathrun.

Also, I fully agree that there's room for the current staff team to lock in. But I also recognize that it can be difficult to do so, and so far I know from experience that handling the discord side of things is not something admins nor moderators are particularly trained on. That's where I think the addition of a discord-focused moderator/discretionary mod who focuses on the discord side of things will be helpful in - as mentioned in a previous post - establishing that standard and helping people get a good grasp on how to handle the discord side of things as well. Thank you for your support <3

I try to contribute where I can and to give a lot of thought to the things I suggest, which usually leads me to walls of text. Whoops. But thank you for your support <3

My intention as communciations lead is to get the communications across the board more consist. This is especially important on a platform that we use to do just that, communicate. You and I allign with what we want to see and I know our communication styles will compliment each other very well.
