Steam Workshop::Snoop Dogg
Regarding my last post about adding Kanye West as a playermodel, I want to expand on that same idea by suggesting another figure who would fit perfectly into the pointshop: Snoop Dogg. Just like Kanye, Snoop represents not only an incredibly successful music career but also a broader cultural presence that pretty much everyone recognizes. He’s been a staple in hip-hop for decades, but beyond music, he’s made himself known through acting roles, commercials, collaborations, and even appearances in video games. In other words, Snoop isn’t just a rapper—he’s a household name and an icon of laid-back, entertaining energy.
Adding Snoop Dogg to the roster would accomplish a lot of the same goals I mentioned in my previous post: increasing diversity in the playermodel section, giving players more recognizable and fun options, and adding figures that spark conversation and laughs the moment they appear in-game. While Kanye is known for his controversy and innovation, Snoop brings a more universally loved, lighthearted vibe, which makes him a perfect balance to that suggestion. Between the two, you’d have two of the most influential names in music history represented, each with their own unique personality and style that players would immediately connect with.
