Why you should be unbanned

I was on Terrortrain and it started out as a round was taking a little too long and so i decided to throw a discombob in hopes it would speed the round up (my bad) , this was blatant rdm and I should just waited for delay warnings instead of doing that. Then on the next round I for some reason rdmed fitz (sorry) and once i picked up a traitors Jihad I decided to use it and blow up a crowd of people (my fault yall), while the people who reported me there forgave me I still understand why I am banned, forgiven reports or not I still mass rdmed. I believe in one of my report responses I jokingly said "just ban me" so I can easily see why you would think I had 0 intent to actually play I feel like in most of my time on the server ive never really done something like intentional mass rdm. I want to apologize because I ruined a bunch of peoples rounds for no reason 2 rounds in a row.​

I have the reports and logs if you'd like to see them, but since you've acknowledged them I'll hold off on posting them to speed up my reply. Feel free to ask if you want to see any of it.

You had one valid report against you on inno motel for killing a player that was blocking you while you were being shot at. We don't consider gunfire to be a valid reason to kill for blocking.

While we were discussing that with the trials on at the time you threw a discombob that killed 3 people including a detective, as a detective. Then in the following round you killed fitz and jihaded killing another 5.

Since none of the responses to your reports indicated any reason other than the one for blocking, 3 reports were valid and not forgiven, and there were a total of 10 kills, I decided to ignore forgiveness and go for mass RDM.

As I mentioned in discord "no intent to play" isn't exactly accurate. It seemed out of character for you and very intentional, but I didn't want to put intentional mass rdm as the reason for the extension. I can understand being tempted by a dumb opportunity like that. It's still a lot of rdm, but it does make a difference that you were just trying to do something funny when given the opportunity and not just mass rdming for completely no reason.

I will walk back the extension and reduce this back to 1 day for Mass RDM 1st, as well as change the reason to remove "no intent to play."

This appeal is accepted. I'll hold off on locking this for now in case you want to see any of the relevant reports or logs, or if you have questions about the report from the guy who was blocking you.

thank you for accepting my appeal, I do have 1 question about the guy blocking me and nothing more. Would it be considered GBA to block someone in gunfire close by and to not fire back or act upon it? After the guy shot at me he just chose to stare at me and get in the way instead of trying to stop the guy with the shotgun. Since it was from a doorway and he said I acted instantly upon it and gave him no time I assume he really didnt fully register what happened and perhaps I killed too fast for it to be considered GBA. Just curious though

It's a bit hard for me to comment on whether or not GBA applied in this particular situation because I did not investigate the report. I didn't see the deathscene, but some of the other staff members on at the time did and they were the ones involved in handling the report. As a general rule of thumb for determining whether or not someone is GBA, consider whether or not the person would have had valid grounds to kill the person they're supposedly GBA to if they were inno. (note that this does not apply to every GBA situation) The player also needs to be given a reasonable amount of time to react to the traitorous act as well. Again, without having seen the situation myself, I'm not sure whether or not this was the case. What you're describing very well could have been GBA, with the important details being how much the player blocking you was able to see and how much time they had to react.
