Previous staffing experience
I was previously staff on STTT/SGM a total of 3 times throughout the years playing there. After leaving SGM, I also staffed on moat and Velkon for quite some time. Accumulatively I'd conservatively guestimate my staffing experience is close to 1000 hours between all servers.​
Why should you be considered for a moderator position?
Do you meet the minimum requirements listed above?
Absolutely, without a doubt.

What is your goal in joining the staff team?
I enjoy playing the game and ensuring that rules are being abided by and everyone is having fun. My goal is to do my part in making gameplay fair and fun for all players.

What skills or knowledge do you bring to the table?
As mentioned above, I have quite a bit of experience with staffing on TTT. I would say I am very knowledgeable about the rules and how to conduct fair gameplay. I am not sure of my total hours on GL but I have only 1 slay in the amount of time I have played in this community.

How committed can you be — short-term and long-term?
As a normie player I have bouts where I will play frequently and then play other things, but as a staff member I understand the importance of being present and helping at least a few times a week. Long term I do not plan on leaving the community entirely, so I don't see why there would be any issues with longevity.

Can you handle serious situations maturely and calmly?
Yes, I believe that I have the temperament and mentality required for staffing on the servers and not being biased or over emotional.

How are your social skills? Can you handle conflict respectfully?
Social skills are well adapted. Rarely do have actual conflict, but when there is, I do my best to handle it professionally.

How well do you handle pressure or discouraging moments?
After staffing for such a long period of time and growing in my personal career, I don't particularly find myself under much pressure when it comes to the game. Discouragement can be a choice in most situations.

Are you familiar with all relevant game/community rules?
Yes :) I feel like my 1 slay is a good example of that.

How much time can you realistically dedicate to staffing?
I work Sun-Wed each week until a bit late at night, but I have been playing after work and in the afternoon on days off. The exact hours itself may vary but I can easily see myself spending 15-20 hours playing each week.

What does your punishment history look like? If you have one, how have you changed?
My punishment history on GL is essentially non existent. Previous community issues are upwards of 5+ years ago, and I'd like to think that everyone involved has grown. Any previous issues that had been present have hopefully been communicated and no hard feelings.

How is your reputation within the community? Are there reputable members who would recommend you?
I feel like my reputation is rather good! I have made quite a few new friends since joining GL and reconnected with a lot of previous friends and peers. I am actually placing this application after a bit of overwhelming requests of when I am finally going to LOL.


Thanks to everyone that has given me the opportunity for us to get to know each other this time around and make newer, better memories. Regardless of this application status I will continue to play on GL and enjoy my time in the community. ❤️​

I've had nothing but fun and positive experiences playing with you on the server. You're very knowledgable on the rules and that's evident with only one slay for accidental RDM in over 60 hours in-game.

You're also incredibly active on the Discord and I've only had positive experiences with you on there.

Factoring in your prior experience, I think you'd be an excellent candidate for an Admin to pick up. Easy +1 from me
 
+1 always a fun sight on the server and definitely knows the rules. Only thing I see is some people get under your skin, but other than that small mishap, perfect candidate.
 
I think zomb would be a valuable asset on the team. She has been around for a considerable time and she displays an extensive knowledge of the rules very well. Also, she shows a great interest with how well this application is written. As some pointed out some players may get under your skin but this is pretty minor and nothing to mull over. This is a no brainer +1

Glad to see you apply! So far when I’ve seen you in game and on discord you’ve been genuinely pleasant and fun, and I think most of the players enjoy you too. Obviously you were my Mod over a decade ago, and a ton has changed since then for everyone involved, a lot of growth has happened. I personally have a ton of faith that while you at times are a clapback machine and can be a little intense, that you’re fully capable of being a Mod, and a great Mod too. You always were great with rule knowledge and have a great sense of humor, and something I’d describe as a bit of a “justice boner”. And that isn’t a bad thing either, it actually is an asset I think, when honed and used properly.

We’ve already spoken a little of course, and from what little bit we have spoken I get the impression that you’re very self aware about the concerns some may have had about the past, but I did want to briefly talk about how passionate you can be when you feel there’s wrongdoing happening or you’re bothered. I know you know that at times you have handled some matters in a heated fashion and can be intense, so I appreciated you bringing that up on your own as it definitely shows self awareness. My question would be, do you think you’re ready/willing to be a little more delicate with how you express concerns/disagreements? You’ve always been very vocal with your thoughts and feelings on matters and I do not want you to stop doing that, and I’m sure you deciding to apply means a yes to my question, but I figured it was worth asking publicly so you can address for anyone who may be concerned.

Like I told you, I personally am very confident that you can learn from the past like many others of us have, and I am genuinely excited to see you taking more interest. I think you’d be a valuable and fun voice to have in the mix.

For any comments regarding people getting under my skin, I fully understand how it may come off that way. For a majority of the time, other than the last - week? ish? I've mostly ignored any kind of "bothersome" behavior. I recently have been poking fun at the dumb and ridiculous things people have said to me in the servers, just to follow the vibe of the servers. I don't actually get my feelings hurt over the game, it's all in jest and to mess around alongside others.

Unfortunately harassment is part of the gaming experience especially when using voice chat and I chose to have a little fun with it. I feel like other than giving some goofy energy back, I've been pretty "mild". The delicacy may have been an issue 10 years ago, but I don't personally think it is now. If there are any specific examples I could give context to, I'm happy to do so.
